Due to time restrictions Travis will no longer be in-charge of the creation of the website. He shall still be around, but he stated he will not have enough free time to be able to commit enough to get this going.
So I have decided to close the account with 1&1 as it wasn't what we needed. Then we can go down the Wordpress (website builder) path while using a domain. This seems like the most practical way of making this work at the moment. As we would all have log-in access to the website to post content individually. Which before, we never had. One would have to re-upload the site whenever updated.
The only thing that will cost will be the domain. Which is $7 a month. But if we all chip in we can easily cover that. If nobody is up to the actual "chipping" in part. I will have to try and cover it myself, but I won't lie that will be highly unpractical.
I was thinking if we get this going we could either make our own website theme or buy a Wordpress theme - they are surprisingly good. Take a look at some here:
www.studiopress.com
Also, there is a problem with the website name. It seems as we were with PlayDependent when we used 1&1 that name is now under contract with 1&1. Even if we cancel it will not become availible untill we use the amount of time we paid for when buying the domain. Which is the end of the year...
So I was thinking of altering that one, or coming up with a completely new website name?
This is the current situation with the website at the moment.
Any suggestions or guidance?
